How to read this result
Every date belongs to one category: business day, day outside your working pattern, or public holiday on a scheduled workday. Adding these categories gives the total number of included calendar days.
Monday to Friday is the initial pattern. Select different days for part-time work or a Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule. The start date is examined; the end date is counted only when its checkbox is selected. A holiday on an already excluded day is never deducted twice.
Personal leave, sickness, employer arrangements and individual exceptions are not deducted. Public holidays are assumed to be days off when their exclusion is enabled. This is a calculation from your settings, not a payroll determination.

Can I use a part-time pattern?
Yes, for a pattern that repeats every week. Select only your scheduled days. Rotating shifts require a separate count.
Does a Sunday holiday count twice?
No. If Sunday is outside your working pattern, it is already excluded before holidays are considered.
